Nine year surgiversary

Yesterday was my 9 year surgiversary of my gastric bypass. What I did I
lose? I lost my high blood pressure, my reflux, my joint pain, 160
pounds and an increased risk of premature death. What have I gained?
I've gained years added to my life, some of the best friends ever and a
career where it is not only my pleasure but my honor to go to work
every day.

Thank you to all of my OH friends! I've been reading these posts and looking at the photos for over 9 years!

WOW!  9 years?  I did not know you were that far out.  Congratulations!

 Congratulations Pam!!! That is awesome. You are a real inspiration to us all. The only other person I know about this far out is my mother, who didn't follow everything and had a bad surgeon, but you  and others gave and continue to give me faith in the surgery. If you do what you have to, what we've been told to, you can lead a long, normal (for a WLS patient) and healthy life.

Thanks guys! It's the ongoing opportunity to work with each of you that makes work both fun and meaningful.

I looked for you today, I even sat in your office for awhile. I guess you were celebrating somewhere. I would be too. Your an inspiration to all of us.  YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!
