NO WEIGHT LOSS YET

I HAD SURGERY DEC 28, AND WEIGHED WHEN I GOT HOME  AND HAD GAINED ABOUT 9 LBS WHILE IN THE HOSPITAL. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT? I KNOW IM SWOLLEN FROM THE IV'S BUT GEEEEEEEEEE. WHATS GOING ON HERE ANYBODY EXPERIENCE THIS?

Absolutely normal! You've been pumped full of fluids and anesthesia. Just give it a few days and you will see the scales start to go the other way.

Drink your water! That will help flush the other fluids from your system.

 And don't forget all the gas they pump into your abdomen so they can surge easily! I'm not going to weigh myself until the 2 week post op check up.

YOU WERE RIGHT AS OF NOW IVE LOST 19 POUNDS. ALSO AT MY POST-OP THE NURSE SAID THEY HAD REALLY PUMPED ME FULL OF FLUIDS SINCE I LIVE ALMOST TWO HOURS FROM THE HOSPITAL, THEY DIDNT WANT ME TO DEHYDRATE. GLAD ITS COMING OFF NOW.
