Cindy, a friend of Marilyn posted this early this evening, and I wanted to share with our family here on OH...

Thank you so much for all the prayers for Ron and Marilyn, after a terrible 6 month illness, he passed away tonight. He was a fun-loving, passionate about life guy who loved his family and loved God. We will all miss him terribly. Please continue to lift up his wife Marilyn and daughter Erin.

Marilyn had her family with her last night during this terrible time.  Her brother, sister, cousin and daughter Erin were all there for her.  Ron fought a valient fight but was tired and went to his Lord peacefully.  We will miss his jokes and wonderful outlook on life.

We love you, Marilyn, and will continue to pray for you in this trying time.

I cannot even begin to express the feelings I have inside.  I feel sad for Marilyn and Erin, they have gone through such hell over the past year in their lives with Marilyn's surgeries, Ron's illness.   They are in my heart and prayers.

Thanks Scott for keeping us updated.  Marilyn has been torn in so many ways I pray that GOD will lift her up.  I know what a truly great life long friend Cindy is and I pray that she will have the strength to help pull Marilyn through this.  What can you say?  I will say Ron was a "GOOD MAN" it was my privilege to have spent time with them.  He was a hardy fun loving guys guy and he will be missed.  C'ya Ron

I'm taking up money for a nice flower garden/plant arrangement for the funeral.  Please pm me and let me know if you would like to donate.  I will give my address to send the check to if you want to give, but do not feel comfortable in posting it here on the public forum.  All the names of the people who give will be placed on the card.

Prayer's being sent for Marilyn and her family during this trying time. Ron was a great fun loving guy and the East TN Low Country Boil's will NEVER be the same.

Does anyone have information as far as arrangements?

My heart aches for Marilyn and Erin. They are in my prayers.  Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.  I lost my fiance 10 years ago, I know the pain and grief that Marilyn and Erin will be going thru. If I didn't have friends and God I would never have made it thru those hard days that were ahead of me.

I am so sorry to hear this, but also glad that Ron is finally at peace and enjoying Heaven today. I will be praying for Marilyn and her family as they learn to cope with their grief.
