plastic surgery in TN

Has anyone had plastic surgery in the nashville/clarksville area?
Everyone i have called wants a 75$ first consultation fee.
Need some recomendations, 75$ is a bit much to be just shopping around.

$75 is normal - shop around on here first and use the web.  Mant of us have used Dr. Wagstrom & Dr Heneke.  There are a few a wouldn't go back to if you paid me to do so - but you know I cannot mention there names here. 

Make sure they have done PLENTY of WLS patients - we have unique issues that normal people do not have.  I am having mine in 4 weeks and will be using Dr. Wagstrom - she will take insurance for some procedures.  I like her b/c she looks very down to earth and is concerned about the uniques issues we bring to the table.  She is worth the $75 consultation fee.

Ask the doctor's staff if they are going to apply the $75 towards your surgery because the docs that I know of do this.  In light of the type of surgery you are going to have, $75 isn't much.  You want to make sure the doctor is a good fit for your needs.  Plastic surgery is not to be taken lightly, as Beth has said.  We do know people who must live with poor results and it can be very damaging to your emotional health should they not perform the surgery correctly.

Hi there.  I was searching on Wagstrom and found your post quoted here.   May I ask if you are pleased with your results?  She has been recommended to me by others here on OH for my hernia repair and tummy tuck.  (Arms down the road if money ever comes in!)
I am almost two years out from my DS and vanity has reared its ugly head!  Thought I would be satisfied with weight loss, but now I want more!

thanks for the dr to check out.  I know that most of them will apply it to the procedure. My problem is I want to visit to many of them because Im not sure who is best at wha. It seems looking on the web just isnt giving me any good ideas about who to go to and what to stay away from.
 I dont know anyone who has had WLS plastic surgery.

Would like to know if anyone on here has had any expereince with anyone in Nashville being good for Wls patients. As the point was brought that WL patients have special issues.

All of these 3 doctors have done, and deal with wls patients. 
Other doctors in the area who do wls patients are:  Dr. Fleming, Dr. Melinda Haws, Dr. Gengrass.
The best thing you can do is to talk to your gastric surgeon and find out who he or she refers to.  That means a lot when your doctor can refer you to someone.  They won't want to lead you astray.

She did my LBL with anchor cut, mons reduction and hernia repair almost 2 years ago and I am thrilled with my results. Her entire staff is wonderful.

Dr Hagan at Vanderbilt performed my Breast/Eye/Broww/Breast lft last Oc and this Oct my TT and I LOVED him. I had several consults with the PS that others here used and was not satisfied with being told I needed BA. Dr Hagan was the only one who said he could simply transfer my "Side Breast" to my breast and that I didn't need the BA. I am very happy with the results. It , I think, just depends on who you "click with" or thats at least what helped me decided. The initial $75 consult fee was applied to my first surgery and each addtional consult cost me nothing. ALSO the fees for these surgeries was quite a bit less expensive then the other quote I recieved. In fact I sent a e-mail to the Dr and recieved a better cost just by saying that I hadn't planned on spending as much as it would cost. ALSO he spent more time on me and added procedures that I didn't acually PAY for (example he lipoed my mons,sides and back) which I had been prepared I would have to in later for.ALSO he extended my TT to go around my back, not a belt, but as close as possible without BEING a belt.Goos luck with your PS journey!
