Obesity Help ATLANTA EVENT
Hello everybody,
Although I am from TN and post rarely, I just had to come on here and tell you all about the Obesity Help Events that are being held all over the country.
I was fortunate enough to be able to go to the Atlanta event this past weekend. Let me tell you, you guys MISSED SOMETHING SPECIAL if you did NOT go.
From meeting Eric (thank you thank you for creating Obesity Help) to Kim and her hubby Mr. Kim (lol Dave) to ALL of the OH staff that were there, just CANNOT tell you what this event did for ME personally. Thank yous just don't seem enough. But THANK YOU.
If none of you have NOT ever met or heard Bo McCoy or Chef Dave you HAVE to make it a GOAL to do so. Get Chef Dave's book. OMG does he help with our journey. YES HE HAS HAD SURGERY. He knows HIS STUFF.
BO, well he kept us in stitches. Especially when he was trying to introduce Mary Jo Rapini, the sex thereapist from Texas. Oh boy is all I can say. And awwww Bailey is such a cutey. That is Bo's darling daughter, the light of his life.
OH goodness buddies, there were TWO venders there that had these WONDERFUL body suits that hid every single wrinkle, roll and bulge that you can imagine. They let several people WEAR Them just to see how COOL they are. And guys, YES YOU CAN. WOW is all I can say.
And the VENDERS. Boy did you guys go ALL OUT with samples and information and smiles and hugs too. Theresa, your Italian Cappachino is WONDERFUL.
Celebrate Vitamins, YOU ROCK. And yes sir, I will HAVE YOU come to one of our support group meetings.
Dr. Fabio and Trinity you both were SO HELPFUL to all of us. Many many questions were answered. For anyone out there who had their surgery in another country and cannot find a surgeon to take your case in the US, call Trinity. Dr. Fabio offers plastic surgery at a reasonable cost in a Spa type setting.
Realize, one again YOU guys stepped up to the plate, both with your speaker and your product samples. THANK YOU.
Dr. Ritz and Ginger, if any WL buddy ever had a doubt about attending a SUPPORT GROUP you guys put the importance into perspective. Thank you both.
Althoiugh I did not attend the ZUMBA class, I was in a class next door and I tell you, those people were having a BLAST. Cora Jane attended and she LOVED IT. That is a work out peoples. LOL
Bariatric ADvantage, you guys have always supported Bariatric patients. If you are NOT the front runner of vitamins and supplements you are definately the precedent setting company. THANK YOU for your generosity of samples and wealth of information on specific needs that WL buddies have post surgery.
The FOOD, oh goodness bariatric eating is the BOMB when you get to enjoy food that was as good as the fare served to all of us. I don't know who did the menu, waving at Chef Dave and the MARRIOT STAFF, but it was PERFECT.
Deborah and all of the volunteers who put the cloting exchange together, WOW is all I can say. My goodness I felt like a thief and a hog with all of the wonderful outfits I was able to find. From bras to britches. WOO HOO. Thank you everyone who donated made my wardrobe more "stylish". Thank you CINDY W for picking out clothes that look great on me.
Cathy and Debbie, the only bummer was NOT getting to meet you. I understand that you cannot attend all of the OH EVENTS and we were told that we all were LUCKY that Eric was at the Atlanta event, but someday I sure hope to get to meet you girls. You inspire me every week with all that you do.
Oh yeah, I forgot, you guys would NOT BELIEVE the drawings of gifts for us. One of our special ladies won a GREAT gift. All of the gifts had values from $50 to hundreds of dollars. OH staff and venders really went out of their way.
I had to leave and did NOT get to attend the Fashion show or the Social Dance so someone else will have to report on those activities.
In closing, IF an OH event is being held anywhere NEAR YOU, you NEED TO GO.

PS
NOT TO be left out, the WL buddies that were there. All 250 of them. I have never felt so like a FAMILY member at a family reuniion before but all of you made me feel that way. I hope that you guys will be my friend. I would love to keep in touch.
