My husband, Bleu, talked to her last nite around 8 and they were moving him to room 909 at UT.  He definitely has a bad pneumonia and they were not sure at that time about the PE.

Hi everyone.  Just a quick note to update you.  Ron has a really bad pneumonia, probably never got over the last one that he had when he was in critical care and had to be intubated since those bacteria are almost impossible to kill.  He had consults with infectious disease (our own version of Dr House and his team) today and with pulmonology.  He is in either metobolic or respiratory acidosis and they are in the process of determining the cause of it- but I imagine it is dehydration and infection.  His condition is guarded but I think he is better today that yesterday.  His birthday is Monday, so I am really hoping that we can get him home for that.  Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes.
