Thank God Cheryl is Home!!!!

Most of you knew that Cheryl has been in the Hospital sense Wed. It was determined late Friday afternoon that her lap-band had slipped. When Dr. Westmorland went in he found that her stomach had swolen over the band and it was compermising the blood flow to her stomach. The band was removed just after midnight Friday night. She is now home resting. Keep the prayers going. She is still in a little bit of pain still. After 6-8 weeks of healing she might be ready to try another procedure.

Glad to hear that she is home, tell her to get better soon and take it easy!!!

Oh my goodness!!  I hope that she heals up soon.  I cannot imagine how that feels, but it sounds very painful.  Please tell her that we all wish her a speedy recovery.  Does that mean that she no longer has a lapband?  Will they put another on?  

Mel, yes, it looks like they had to take it out. Sometimes an unfill can fix a slip but hers must have been really bad for them to take it out. Hope she is doing well and has a speedy recovery.
