Hi Fancee, I'm not new to the board, but new to you. Congratulations on getting approved. You have a fantastic surgeon. Be sure to keep us updated. This is one New Years resolution you can't break. Every year someone says they are going to lose weight. You'll be able to make that resolution and stick to it. It's a great tool. I'm almost 4 years out, already had my tummy tuck, thighs done, and just had my arms done last Friday the 16h. I am at my goal weight and holding it. Making you a list of everything you cannot do because of the weight, the a WOW list of everything you can do as the weight melts off. You will constantly be adding to the WOW list. It' so much fun and exciting. I still have WOW moments.
May God travel with you on this new journey

My journey has been a long one. I started this process back in 2007 and had to stop and restart again. So, you really can't compare how long it took me to your situation. However, I have my consultation with the surgeon on OCt. 30th which is about two weeks after i found out i was approved. I am hoping i will get Dec 21st for my surgery date because i am in school and that will be the begining of our Christmas break. I will find out the date when i go on the 30th. But i was told that the surgery dates are running about a month out from when you have your consult. At least through Centennial. Hope this helps some!
