Howdy folks,

Taking a walk today in the fall weather was just amazing, I made it to the 1/2 mile mark so there and back means 1 mile.  I can finally say my stamina is coming back! 

Also...  anyone can join the October challenge...  so join us on scaring away some pounds..  the more people we have to say BOOOO  the scarier it gets!!

I actually DID NOT get off my butt today. We have been running around all week and decided to take the day off. Resting and relaxing was all that was on the agenda today. However, I will say that for the last two weeks, I have done all the shopping completely without my wheelchair. Things are still getting better.

I started the October challenge at 206. I am now at 204 so I have 5 pounds left to go to my goal of 199. So far so good. Hope I dont hit a stall.

 Amy!  It's sooooo good to see you back!

Life has been crazy the past few months and I have gotten seriously unfocused.  I got my new food journal late last week and am getting back in line with that.  For me and my emotional issues with food, I have to document.  Otherwise, out of sight, out of mind!  Sheesh!  Using my journal also helps with staying on track with vitamins and calcium and other meds.  I'm so scatterbrained these days!  

Can we do different goals instead of just pounds?  

#1:  I'd like to lose 5 pounds this month
#2:  I'd like to commit to walking to my car/office 5 times a week, which is skipping the bus once a day, either coming or going.  If I skip it both ways, even better!  But I'll give myself a bit of slack and work up to that.

I did!  So far, two out of 5 boo-busses checked off my list!
