Well, it's done. I'm home, a day late, but home at last. Surgery on Monday went well, so I heard. But on Tuesday the headache I'd been fighting pre-op hit full force with severe nausea making it nearly impossible to get anything down. A change in pain medicine and some anti-nausea meds did the trick so that by the next day I felt like a new woman. But now I'm home, everything seems to be in good working order, and all's well in my world. I'm sorry I didn't even think to tell Joe to log on to let you guys know what was going on though.

Thanks so much for all your prayers and well wishes.

I think I've got the breathing thing down now, Its funny but I could never have imagined my whole day being consumed by thoughts of what I'm going to drink next. I'm still really excited though.

Hi Mel, I've already had some eye-opening experiences, and it's not even been a week. I only hope it continues to go this smoothly.
