I'm Making a Major change in Life!!!

Well I'm moving to Tennessee next week on the 7th...to Oak Ridge Tennessee...anyone know a good bariatric Doctor in the area...I've already had surgery on September 25.....and feel pretty good..I just need a doctor to follow up with my progress in that area...

Welcome to TN!!!!  The Oak Ridge area is a beautiful area, my sister lived there once, and I loved going there to visit!

I don't know of the doctors in that area, but suspect it will be someone in Knoxville which is not that far away from Oak Ridge. 

Hi Shannon!  I live in Oak Ridge, so welcome new neighbor. 

I'm going to have my DS surgery with Dr. Stephen Boyce of New Life Bariatric Center in Knoxville.  The staff there are very nice and Dr. Boyce comes highly recommended.  He took his time with me during my consultation and explained things very well.

Also, Shannon,i wanted to let you know that I am an Angel volunteer with Dr. Boyce's program and was at parkwest hospital yesterday for half a day helping out with newbie patients. I really do believe you would enjoy working this program.

Ok...this is kinda freaky, Mel, because we were in the Tom Thumb gas station and there were a bunch of TN people in there and some were out in the vehicles....wonder if one of those were you? How cool!!

There is one in Knoxville that I hear good things about. Dr. Boyce at Parkwest Hospital. I have a friend on another board who lives in Oak Ridge. Try PMing her for more info. Her name is Carolyn M. Her partner just had surgery with Dr. Boyce not long ago.
