I'm outta control! I've started working nights and I've found myself eating things I shouldn't be eating like vanilla wafers, potatoe chips, etc....... This has been a particularly bad week. I've already gained a few pounds I know but I'm scared to get on the scales. I know that no one can fix this but me but I just felt the need to confess and get back on track. I know what I have to do.
Thanks for listening, i just had to get it out and admit it to myself.

Well atleast you are talking about it and not keeping it hidden. I am only a month out of surgery, and I work two jobs. I am missing the snacking!!! You are right none of us can make you do what you need to do, but we are here for you to listen and understand.

Dust yourself off and try again. You can do it!!

Our back on track group meets Monday night at 6:00 in the Tace building (Dr. Houston's office). These are the very issues they talk about, can you make arrangements to attend?

Thanks for replying Pam,
I will do my best. I'm trying to make my schedule where I'm off on Mon nights. This would help me a lot!

This is a real fear that many of us live with.  The fear is a good thing it gives us that little extra control, just like the fear of dumping.  The real fear comes in when we don't fear anymore.  So when someone like yourself brings the subject up it's helpful for them but the rippling effect is helpful to all.  Thanks for the unknowing support.  C'ya Bob

Thanks to all of you for the encouragement and support! It just helped to get it out! I bypassed the Nilla Wafers after I'd written the post. I consider that a success,  a little one but a sucess nontheless! I need you guys! Sometimes we get a little ****y. I'm 2+ yrs out. I need an awakening!
To support group I go!

Thanks again,
Janie
