Long time no post
Hello! Just some news on me for those *****member me. I am now in the Seattle, WA area. I have been here since June. I am now in the process of submitting for initial approval for WLS!!! You heard right! They got me on state insurance quick here and I got a great Dr. who is totally on board and has assured me 100% it will get approved. Her though you apply for approval before starting the 6 months so I am doing the required labs Friday and at that time we can fax the application. Once approved I start the 6 months and I already have seen the nutritionist and have my next months appts with her booked. I am not sure how long the review will take but I know I am ready! I am gonna do everything to the tee! After the first two months they will start doing the stuff I have to do at the surgeons like the psych. eval and the consult. Piece of cake there. I am asking in detail what they want on everything so I am very clear and nothing is gonna mess me up. I have to lose 20 lbs. but I can do that. I was told basically if you get the initial approval and just do the stuff they ask you get approved no issue. The second is just a review of if you completed the program. So... wish me luck. I haven't forgotten all the love and support. D is at training in VA still in guard and my nephew may go to Iraq in Dec. Just wanted to share the word. It is time I can feel it and I can look back and see why I wasn't ready then. I am finally at peace with it and have moved on that there were things I would have missed like the time to be with my gramma. It was truly all for his plan even when I was not able to see or understand and so much has happened and it will truly all be for his glory now and not my own. I just wanted to share.
