You can even purchase their syrups usually $6.95 per: bottle depending if they have enough in stock.  Michael I know exactly what your talking about that's why I will not use the drive up I want to watch what bottle they use..  Had a close call too.  C'ya

I'm not a coffee drinker so I dont do Starbucks but I've read about several other dumping episodes on other boards related to mistakes made by the server at Starbucks. I'm with, Bob. I dont think I would trust my order to the drive-through.

Thanks for the graphics. I think they strengthened my resolve to not "test" out my dumper. I can see myself now:

I know....it's easy to wonder if your dumper is working, but, trust me, just believe it is & go from there!! :).

Awhile back, we went to Starbucks in Gallatin.  The barista swore to Mike (my best friend & wls patient) that the Vivano Smoothies were sugar free!  I said, "umm no they are not."  Then I continued by asking to see their nutritional information.  Back last year, they had a small 3 ring binder that contained every nutritional stat on their products, including pastries.  So they looked, and OH HOW FORTUNATE they couldn't seem to locate it.

I told Mike to proceed with caution..  because even the milk they use has 12 g sugar!  Come on, do they think I'm stupid?  Well...  needless to say he bought the Vivanno and drank only half of it but it took him a VERY long time.  He was scared I think...  I said VERY loudly, "I'll tell you what...  Why don't you just go ahead and order the drink, stand right here in the middle of the store and in awhile we are going to show this woman that it is not sugar free when she has to clean up the mess!"  Needless to say, sometimes tact isn't my strong point.

Nope... I will not even try one of those smoothies!  They offer me one everytime I go.

Good thing that I have not dumped on the Soy that they put in their latte.  I think that it has about 23g!!  (I choose the soy because I want the calories)

But since it is a milk sugar, that is why it does not bother me I guess.  I will NOT test those waters with refined sugars.  NOPE will not do it.  No pastries for me, even though the Oatmeal cookie that they have on the menu board ALWAYS looks SOOOOO good!!

Okay--See?  I can drink Starbucks Vivanno Smoothies with out any trouble, but I got a "SF" snow cone last week at the Wilson Co Fair and had my first DUMPING EPISODE!  you can imagine how much fun that was at the fair!--I think it must have been a regular "sugar" snow cone.  I didn't think I would dump, but as the experienced folks on this board have warned me, it can happen anytime! Although I follow the plan well, I was reminded in a VIVID way, that yes, I am a SURGICALLY ALTERED FREAK and I can never forget that!  LOL  Erika

Thanks M!  Now I have to clean my computer screen.  I just spit my caramel protein latte all over my desk from laughing so hard!

I'm glad you figured it out, and I bet you think twice before ordering anymore lemonade!  LOL!

If you have a World Market near by, they sell the Torani brands of sugar free syrups.  Pretty reasonably priced as well.  Oh yeah, the 2 I know of have a Target right next door as well!  I hear they are having a sale on "Fake Sugar Free Lemonade" this weekend!  LOL!

Thanks for sharing!

Michealla - You need to stay away from Target.   If I remember correctly - you got chicken stuck when you were there very early out and now dumping there.   It may be a sign that Target is not the place for you.  .

I am sorry you had to experience dumping - I hear it is horrible - I was scared to death of dumping (one of the reasons I chose the DS).
