OT: Nashville Visit

My Sister and I are going to be in Nashville on Sept.12th and was wondering if anyone can give some insight of things to do .We want to walk around Nashville and want to go down Broadway to see Tootsies Orchid Lounge and Ernest Tubbs record shop,Hard Rock Cafe.But i have not been to more than that except to the Ryman. Is there parking avaliable around Broadway that is not outrageous?Any help would be appreciated.Thanks Val

Parking - Don't forget that since it is the weekend, you can park on the street at a parking meter for free (Weekends, holidays and after 5 or 6pm, cannot remember).
If you cannot find any parking on the street, like above, park a few blocks north of Broadway and you will find plenty of parking that is very reasonable.
When I go down there for the Nashville Predators game, I always park at the Library parking garage for $4.00 for the night. I'm sure it is the same thing just on a normal weekend. They are located between Church and Commerce and 6th and 7th.

I have friends on other boards who were scammed by her. She has a long history of posting sad stories related to her surgery and alleged complications. Money, time and gifts were spent on her, including one kind person who sent her a brand new laptop. During one of the hospital visits she claimed, a few people went there to visit her, carrying gifts and treats and found the whole thing was a lie. Her stories to garner sympathy and solicit help got more and more unbelievable and finally some people began to question. Since she was exposed, no one on other boards really pays attention to her. Imagine my surprise and disgust to see her on our own board. I dont want to see anyone here taken in or used. It is sad that there are people like this out there. I know a lot of people here dont approve of my love for the R&R board but there are some wonderful, giving people there. This woman was just one scammer who has made the rounds there. There was another woman, who claimed to be dying from breast cancer, *****ceived thousands of dollars from members in gifts and cash and payment of bills etc. That woman is now in prison on other changes but will stand trial for what she did here and other places. Very sad situation. I dont want to see anything like that happen on this board.
