Hello all!!

It's that time of the month again!  The monthly Baptist support group will be tomorrow night (Tuesday 09-01-09) at 530pm at the Guy Bates Conference Center.

The discussion will be all about Emotional Eating.  We are getting closer to the holidays and a perfect time to discuss.

Again, the meeting will be held at the Guy Bates Conference Room at Medical Plaza I at Baptist Hosptial.  Same building that the Baptist Metabolic Surgery Center is located on 21st ave.

Off I-40 west, turn left on to Church St.  Go approx 2 miles to 21st Ave.  Turn left on to 21st Ave (at the Krispy Kreme Donuts), then at the Stop sign turn left again.  The parking garage will be on the left.  Turn in and park anywhere.  Go in and there will be signs pointing the way!

Hope to see you all there as it is open to ALL!  Pre-OP, Post-OP, informational, support, etc, any Hospital/Center/Doctor

Michael.

Thanks for the heads up Michael. This month has snuck up on me and I would have missed the meeting. Boy, do I ever need help in the emotional eating department! Paula always knows just what we need, when we need it.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Snuck up on me too.  I had already made plans for tomorrow night that will now have to be changed!  Looking forward to seeing you guys.

Went to see Dr. Wagstrom today.  Prices were about what I expected.  Now I guess I just have to decide what I absolutely can't live with save up for that and learn to live with the rest of it1

Plans already made to be there!

If you are looking for a support group, this is really a good one!  Paula knows just what to say, cause she lives it!  who knows, she might tell us all about her weekend!

I'd planned on going tonight, but couldn't make it.   My grandson fell down just as it was time for him to leave and hurt his little thumb.   He's a VERY dramatic young guy - I would have thought he'd broken it off!!   So then my daughter sat back down and nursed the baby and I couldn't get dinner going in time for hubby to take me.

Has there been any progress to putting together a group for the DS people?   That would really be a good thing.  I mean emotional eating is a good topic for everybody, but so much of the meetings are geared to RNY things.   Which is totally reasonable - there are a LOT more RNYers than us DSers.

I'm blathering.  I probably should ask somebody in Dr. Spaw's office.
