Back on July 18 of this year, several of us from the board participated in the 2nd Annual Worldwide Photo Walk.  In this event, over 32,000 people from over 900 cities all over the world, took to the streets just to take pictures.

Myself, and 4 other WLS patients, grabbed our camers and started walking.  I'll speak for myself, and I'm sure others would agree, without this surgery, there would be no way you would catch me walking the streets!  Just another accomplishment because of my new lifestyle!  YEAH!!!

Anyway, I was shocked this week with an email from a friend.  She said she had seen a picture in the Franklin paper, and wanted to know if it was me?  Well, sure enough, it wasn't me, but one of the pictures I enetered in the photo walk!

I guess what I'm trying to say is this, do something fun that you never would have done before!!!!!  Everyday is a new adventure and we need to participate, wether you're walking and snapping pics, or just enjoying life.

Here's the pic from the newspaper, mine is the one on the left!

Congrats!  You take the best pictures.  I wish I had you eye for details and things that will make great pictures.  Please keep posting your "photo walks".  I enjoy seeing your pictures.

Congratulations, Scott! This is a real honor for one of your pics to be chosen for this.

Although I'm not the photographer you are, I really enjoyed spending that day with you guys. I got my exercise in and had a great time with friends. No better way to spend a Saturday!
