Online Food Diary/Journal
I love love love Fitday for journaling my food. I bought the pc version for about $30 and it has been invaluable. The online version is great too but I prefer to be able to access it even if I don't have online access where I am at any given moment. There is also thedailyplate.com and sparkpeople.com. All are free. Check them out and see which one fits you best.

WWW.LIVESTRONG.COM AND GO TO DAILY PLATE . YOU CAN JOURNEL EVERYTHING AND THE FOODS HAVE ALL YOUR NUTRITION LABELS STORED SO YOU WILL KNOW HOW MANY CALORIES,FAT,SODIUM,CARBS,ETC. SOME FOODS MAY NOT BE THERE BUT CAN BE ENTERED AND SAVED FOR NEXT TIME . THERE IS ALSO SOME GOOD INFO ON THE SITE AS WELL!!!! HOPE THIS MAY HELP !
I love LiveStrong (aka The Daily Plate). It has most foods, even the Kroger generics. I think Fitday has also added more foods than what they used to have. The reason I like it is because you can add the food, and if you only ate 1/4 of the suggested serving size, you can key in .25 and it does all the calculations/reformulating for you. Great! You might try out both to see which one is easiest for you. They are free.
You can also add recipes and it will calculate all the stats for it.
