I can't believe it I am almost there!! As of today I have lost a total of 28 pounds on my three week liquid diet. Am I still hungry? YES. ....but I keep getting through it.

I hope everyone is doing well and please say a little prayer for me and my friend MerryMary who will be having DS done on the same day. We are both at Centennial.

Congradulations on the upcoming surgery. I'm be praying for the both of you. I just had my surgery the 10th and I'm recovering pretty good. I'm sure you will love the nursing staff at Centenial. They were wonderful to me. Just remember that the first day is the worst but after that it's amazing how quickly you recover and start to feel better. Do as I was told: just keep pressing the pain pump! lol. Good Luck!!

Thanks Erika!! I am so glad I have support on this website! It really does help.

I can't wait for next week, I know my journey is not over and it isn't going to be easy but I know it will be worth it!

You will actually be surprised at how good you feel even right after surgery.  Of course you will be sore but the main thing to remember is the nurses are wonderful and they are there for you and when they want you to get up and walk as soon as possible it is for you to heal more quickly so do your best to walk as much as possible.  The  nurses are all so precious there and I actually missed them when I was gone!  The worst part for me was the meals..I didn't want it especially with unjury but you will do just fine.  I wish you lots of luck!  :)
