1 month post op
Hey there! Until you posted this I wasn't even aware that it had been a month since mine too! Wow time sure does fly. We have both lost just about the exact same amout of weight. I didn't track my inches but I know my clothes are fitting me lots different. My main overall feeling is that I can get out more even just losing a little. I go to the YMCA every day and I spend time with my friends more. It's been a huge experience for me although my stomach stays upset alot. I think my nerves have alot to do with that though. I am so glad you are doing so well!!!
Thanks, y'all!
I feel great! I have a lot more energy and want to do things and not just sit around. I've been more active the last 4 weeks than I have the last 4 years!
I am still not hungry, although I am eating. I usually drink a protein shake for breakfast, but try to eat chicken for lunch and dinner. I'm up to 3 ounces at each meal and tolerate it very well. Most nights for dinner I will add 1 T of green beans for some variety.
My heartburn is pretty much gone. I am still taking the Pepcid chewable twice a day though. I have really gotten lax about taking my Reglan and Carafate and have only been taking it 1 or 2 times a day if I can remember it.
I'm taking all vitamins, but still struggle getting in 64 ounces of liquids a day. I get close everyday, but don't always make it.
My scale has actually moved 2 more pounds in the last 2 days, so I'm down 38 pounds, now!
This is the best decision I have made...and the best money I've spent (I was a self-pat patient)! I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!
