Warning to Newbies
Wow, I definitely know where everyone stands here. I said that I felt at home at Centennial, I said nothing about discrimination. I know that the surgery saved my life and I did not try and make any kind of comparison to any other hospital, thankfully I haven't had to compare to any other sources. I am on this board and do what I do to help anyone and everyone I can. I will just make sure to delete my OH account so that I don't upset anyone else. I am so sorry for not being in with the in crowd, I guess that's just not who I am. I am sorry that a few individuals have decided to eliminate discrimination and find me as some source of rebel force invading your secret territory. If anyone ever needs anything from me my email address is [email protected], but this little thread here has shown me that people are definitely upsetted very easily over nothing. Like I said before, I have goals and I have people in the world God wants me to help. Any assistance needed I will give the very large shirt off my back. Thanks everyone for all your support, this place is way too hostile for me. I am 21 years old and have found that bickering and back and forth BS isn't necessary, I guess I grew up early. And if this message sends anyone into an angry frenzy because I am speaking my mind then feel free to amuse me with some more hostile comments. I think that Pat was treated horrible, she was speaking her mind and I thought this board was about commenting POSITIVE and not negative. Thanks for a wonderful freaking day guys. Wow, where's the smiley that I really need to end this with.

I'm going to say this only because I don't like what has happened here to our family: There is a poster called "goingcrazyinky" that started posting on the DS forum. She has changed her screen name at least 3 times. She has claimed to live in KY and FL. She posted her warning to newbies on the DS forum as well and claimed to have posted it on our board by mistake. She stirred up a lot of trouble on the DS forum by posting conflicting stories and misquoting a beloved TN surgeon. If you really want to check it out, be my guest. You will see that her posts on the DS forum have been met with much hostility.
I was very upset to see her over here as I was afraid she would stir up trouble over here and apparently she has. We have been supportive of each other no matter what surgery or hospital. I've said it before and I will say it again: We in central TN are blessed to have a choice of several excellent hospitals and surgeon performing a variety of procedures. This gives us all choice based on our needs and insurance.
You have no idea how much it pains me to write this. I practice civility and common decency 99% of the time. I absolutely hate gossip. However, when one person is allowed to be so disruptive if not destructive, I will speak up. I sincerely hope my sister and brother Volunteers will understand that. I would like to think that anyone feels welcome to come here. We have some great extended family members who live in AL, GA, or other neighboring states who have a TN connection. They enrich our lives and I hope they feel at home with us. (Luvs ya BamaBob and our GA peaches!)
I have blocked this person and therefore had to tack this onto Justin's recent post. I ask your forgiveness for breaking etiquette by talking about someone I blocked. Yet if it helps keep Justin and anyone else affected by her sh*t stirring from leaving this great resource of support, it is worth that breach.

Don't litter! Spay or neuter your pet
Even great surgeons are gonna have patients that love them and some that can't stand them. I mean sometimes it might even boil down to if their personalities go well together or not. So you might not necessarily feel the same way someone else does. I think it is smart to do your research. I mean find out the percentages the surgeon has on fatalities, leaks and so on that the surgery you have picked has. Find out how many of that kind of surgery the surgeon has done obviously the more the better. Good luck.
I mean don't ever take to heart what other people say. I mean at least follow it up with your own research. I have been told to eat tons and tons of fat. Well I went to my doctor yesterday and he completely does not agree with this. So just because, a lot of people think something might not mean it is what is right for you. Again good luck.
