Have you had Duodenal Switch with Dr HOUSTON?

Hi everybody!  I am planning on having the Duodenal Switch with Dr. Houston who is in Nashville.  So is my husband.  Actually, I had RNY that failed and am looking to have a revision to a Duodenal Switch.  I hear he is really a nice guy!

Yes, he is a really nice guy.  I am having my revision from lap band to DS on 8/24.

I saw the not so nice posts on the DS board.  Try to relax and don't let those negative posts get to you.  You have made an excellent decision in choosing Dr. Houston.  He will be thorough and provide the best surgical and after care for you.

And I wish you the best of luck with your surgery!  Thank you so much.  I really do have total confidence in Dr. Houston's ability.  I talked to him and he has common sense.  I wanted a total revision from RNY to DS but he said he could do the lower part..the malabsorption part.  I just really trust him.

He is very good to talk with.  Keep the conversation going and he will be happy to explain his reasoning for wanting to just do just the malabsorption.  He is very professional and seeks opinions from other surgeons if necessary.
