Hi ,,
thank you so much for the information. i acturally have been eating poorly the last year or so because of how i deal with stress, depression etc. no excuse i know but thats how i dealt with things in the past and wel i qusss the old habits came back . i had my surgery in march of 06 and lost about 300 lbs. how ever i lost all that but i was litterly anorexic , i took it to the extremes the other direction , i chose not to eat or drink anything for almost 9 months after surgery for fear of gaining the weight back and after being hospitalized for dehydration and low blood pressure so many times the dr said if i dont eat or drink anything that they would put me in the hospital with a feeding tube so i started eating and drinking liquids etc and now look my biggest fear came true. not what i wanted by far .i know that i stretched my tool out ,i am just wandering if after all this ,if i can still get it back down and be losing again.
but again thank you for the information .
i acturally work in chattanooga but again i thank you so much for your reply..

Looks like you are in Chattanooga area. There should be PLENTY of support groups available in that area. Contact the local hospitals and look for weightloss centers.
I'm in the Nashville area and know there are LOTS of options. I would contact your PCP doctor and see if there is one close by.
One thing that I can recommend is to go back to the basics. You still have the tool that your surgeon gave you when you had surgery. Eliminate all carbs, increase protein and make sure that you are taking all suppliments. Also make sure that you are NOT drinking carbonated drinks (soda) and getting in all fluids that you need for each day (at least 64oz). Also if you are not currently active, start a modest exercise program. Something as simple as a 30 minute walk around your neighborhood each evening or morning will do wonders!
If you are able to contact a local WLS center, ask for a "Users Guide". That will give you all the information that you need.
If you are determined to start loosing weight again, you will be successful!
Keep in mind that 55 lbs is nothing if you follow the "rules". I think that you will be fine as long as you go back to doing what you know you need to do.
Good luck!
Michael.

I think there's a meeting one evening at Memorial, but I'm not sure.
