SURGERY DATE, NEED ANGEL
Hello everyone,
My surgery is August 25th @ 825:a.m. I will be @ St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. My Angel who I have corresponded with since I first came to OH 7 months ago will be out of town in a remote area on that week. She has asked me to make this requst, so that she can be sure that someone is following my updates. I would be very honored is someone would like to help even though it is so close to my surgery date.

Carla, I am a Dr. Weaver "graduate" and just came beck from my 6 month check up today. Blood work was good and I have lost 100 pounds. I am from Arlington and I lead a support group that meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month in Oakland Tennessee.
I can't come to the hospital with you, but I am available for support and conversation by PM or on this board if you need it. I agree with you blog about Dr. Weaver she is an excellent surgeon. You are in good hands.
We also try to get to the St. Francis Support group meetings too. It really helps to have some form of support, in the form of an Angel or a support group.

I would love to correspond on the OH website or by phone or however we can. I am really getting excited, but I do have some of those "what if" moments, and I hope they don't get any worse the closer to surgery that I get. Right now, Today, I am simply thanking God for this miracle that he has allowed me to have. I have only heard wonderful things about Dr. Weaver and after I met her, I totally agreed with all of them. I am so happy that you have done so marvelous in your weight loss. That just seems so foreign to me. I still just can't believe that I am going to be thin. I just can't fathom that right now. But I guess I'll believe it when it happens.
I look at those before and after pictures every day and it just puts me in awe. I will invite you to be my friend so you can have permission to look @ my OH page and get all the information that you might like to have.

I'm so happy for you. I will be in prayer for you tomorrow morning and all day. Please let me know how things turned out as far as the surgery and what all happened after surgery. [email protected] I'll be anxious to hear how wonderful you are doing.
