Lun*****ookeville Today

We had a great time at lunch today. Amy wasn't feeling well today, so she didn't get to make it. We took a picture and we all tilted our heads like Amy. Me, K-9,JOHN,SUSAN O,CHERYL AND PHIL

It was so good to see everyone today.  I had a great time.  Just to let everyone know RONDA cracks me up.    Ronda that is for you (and you know why...LOL).  

Please let me know next time ya'll have  lunch and I will be back up. 

We had a great time and enjoyed meeting the ones that we had not had the pleasure to meet, thanks for letting us crash with ya'll. Amy I hope that you are feeling better and soon.

Hugs to Amy for planning it and to make her feel better.  It was go good to get together to laugh and meet others from TN.  We will do it again.  I said it wouldn't look like a WLS bunch if we weren't all holding our take home boxes, but we all had 'em.

Wish I could have been there.  It looks like you had a lot of fun.  My family was busy with Southeastern Swimming championships in Nashville.

Ronda and John, I met with Dr. Houston yesterday for a consult about revising my band to DS.  I have been stuck at BMI of 37 for a REALLY LONG TIME.  He agreed to do it, but I think was a little hesitant since the surgery is so major and my BMI is not above 40 right now.  I felt that if I went with the sleeve, I would not get all the weight off that I want and did not want to have to have the additional surgery later.  My metabolism is sort of shot and I feel that I need the added malabsorption that the DS provides.

I got my DS handbook and I am studying it like crazy.  Dr. H told me to ask all of you what the bad parts of having the DS are.  So, any words for the wise would be helpful.  Surgery scheduled for 8:00 am 8/24!!!!

I got just what I ask for. I don't have any complaints, it just takes time to adjust to such a small tummy. I told Dr. H that you were coming to see him
about a revision. He ROCKS!!!

8/24 will be here before you know it.  I am with Ronda I got exactly what I wanted.  I have gad a really smooth journey.  My weight loss has been good (but men ten to loose faster and I was a virgin DS - revisions loose a little slower so they so).   I know what my triggers are and what makes my stomach upset and what I MUST stay away from and i do.   You are going to do really well with the DS and Ronda and I are here for any questions you may have.
