I got my DATE!!!!

I am so excited!!  I went to Dr. Dyer yesterday and my date is August 10th!!  I thought it would be later....I am glad to get it over with. I start my 2 week liquid diet on Monday....dread that.........but hey I will make it. I really liked Dr. Dyer and glad I have him as my surgen. I can't believe after almost 3 years of research and fighting with insurance that I have a date now!! I am having RNY not banding as in my user name, I don't know how to change my name!! ~ shell

Congratulations on your date.  We might have been in the office at the same time.  I met with Dr. Houston yesterday and set a date of 8/24 for a band to DS revision.

You will do fine with the liquid diet.  Oddly enough, it keeps you pretty full and it really jumpstarts your weight loss.

Hey mary, Thanks! My appointment was at 2:00. I saw Dr. Houston walking in with coffee (or something) wearing his white coat when we arrived. There was no one in the waiting area but us, so I guess we missed each other.

Wish you could have come today. Lisa my friend is having her surgery the same day as yours. So maybe you guys can walk the halls together. I'm really excited for you.
