Abdomen sensitive after surgery

For those of you which have had the Lap RNY; I am one day short of two weeks post-surgery.  I feel great!  I'm getting all of my protein and have very little discomfort (now).  The skin on my lower abdomen is extremely sensitive to the touch at times; even being aggravated by my shirt.  This is not over an incision site.  My question is:  How long does this sensitivity last?

For me it was 3-4 weeks when performing the surgery they had to cut through several nerve endings.  It seemed the more I walked the better I felt.  Good Luck!!!  C'ya Bob

Hey David!

For me it was at 2-3 weeks that the pain was the worst.  I went back to work at 2 weeks (desk job!), and had to leave on my first day back.

At that point it started getting better each and every day!

Hang in there!
