Tomorrow's the day...

Ok, y'all....tomorrow's the day....I have to be at Centennial Medical Center at 10:00 am tomorrow and my surgery is scheduled for after lunch.  Dr. Houston is my surgeon and I have the utmost confidence in him.

I'm feeling somewhat anxious, but I'm very excited.

I will have to say that I'm glad he only requires 2 days of clear liquids pre-op because my head is killing me.....carb withdrawal maybe???

Anyway, say a little prayer for me!

You are in great hands with Dr. Houston.   He made my sleeve nice and tight with lots of restriction (which I love).   You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Good Luck and Best Wishes to you.  I know you are glad that the day is just about here.  Don't forget the chapstick!  I never expected my lips to be so dry, but they were.  It's just a little thing, but it will make your stay more enjoyable LOL

Well, I am right before you then!  Hopefully mine will go great (keeping my spirits up) and yours will be on time.  I have to be there at 6 and my surgery is scheduled for 8.  I am scared to death...not at all nervous about Dr. Houston..I have total faith in him...I get nervous about anything medical so I am just going with it and taking it a minute at a time.  I wish you all the best!

Of course I'm a little prejudiced about Dr. Houston...  I think he's wonderful.  Yet as I've said before, we here in TN are so fortunate to have so many good surgeons who do a variety of procedures.

I hope everything went well in your surgery anbmom.  Mine went wonderfully and I am already back home.   I am still very sore and feel so different that at times I feel lost..it's just such a new beginning that it scares me sometimes.  Take care and I hope everything is going great for you!
