I haven't been posting much because I just haven't been up to it with everything going on in my personal life. I'm trying to cope with my husband's absence but it is never easy. I put aside the exercise routine because frankly, I've been too depressed to care. However, I wasn't completely inactive. I've taken over all the housework and that keeps me moving and busy most of the time. Today though, I was able to get back into some real exercise. I spent 15 minutes on the recumbent bike and 15 minutes on the treadmill. I rode over a mile and a half and walked half a mile. Pretty good for someone who used to use a wheelchair. Anyway, I wont be able to post everything I do but when I feel up to it I will.
Blessings,
Karen

Karen good for you on getting back out there.
Remember they say one of the best ways to combat depression is to exercise.
It keeps your mind clear and your body busy.

I know your going through a tough time and easier said then done but remember the good things you've accomplished this year. Keep a eye on your depression don't let it get out of control, talk with someone a Counselor, Pastor, Rabi, Priest or close friend.
You take care and keep your chin up....  C'ya Bob

P.S. take the time for you and smile!!!!

Thanks, Bob. I appreciate you. I am in therapy both by myself and with my husband. I'm also on meds for depression. I have been most of my life. So I feel I'm doing all I can. You are right. The exercise does help. Can't promise I can manage it everyday but I will do the best I can.
Thanks again.

Great Job, Karen!

I am finding (which btw I never thought I would say) that exercise is a great therapy tool!!   Even though I have a therapist, when stressed or upset, I'll either head to the gym OR I'll get on my walking shoes.

IDGOMB - Friday:  Water aerobics at the Y!

Saturday is a day of yardwork.. woohoo, I love working in my yard it is getting to be be so pretty and colorful!!
