What to Do with Good Suits

OK, I don't sew.  Can't even make a pillow case. 

I have some suits that I'd like to keep and have altered when I get to goal.  They are a size 24.  My goal size is 14.  Is alteration even possible given those sizes? 

I have a dozen left from my "Have to Wear Suits" days.  They have all been cleaned and are set for donation to the Upper Cumberland Career Center.  They will be used by women who need a nice outfit for job interviews.  Just a friendly reminder that if anyone has nicer things that they don't want to sell or give to Goodwill, there are people who need them.  Please check in your local area for career centers that may also have a need for clothing.  Also check with any Women's Shelters in your area.  Abused women often flee with the clothes on their back and a diaper bag.  Part of the work done by shelter's is finding employment for these women as well as new places to live.  If they can't use the clothes, perhaps they can steer you to an equally deserving organization.

I imagine that some employment agencies might even need suits for men.
