Celebrate ENS
Celebrate Vitamins has come out with a new product: ENS Multivitamin & Calcium Drink Mix. It is a grape flavored powder that comes in packets (the same size and shape of the South Beach On The Go Tide Me Over drink packets, for those who want to know how large they are)...
I received four samples in the mail a few days ago... once I tried putting it in Grape PowerAde Zero (about 8 oz) and today I just added a sleeve of Grape Cheap Kroger drink mix to a bottle of water, then dumped in the grape ENS packet. (I also now take fiber so I added a few tsp of Benefiber with my drinks). These taste pretty good! And, the serving size are 2 a day. Here is a link to Celebrate's website: Celebrate Vitamins. Here is what the site has to say about the product:
Created for surgical weight loss patients, our Celebrate ENS (Essential Nutrient System) provides a full compliment of vitamins and minerals, plus 500 mg of calcium in each stick pack. Our integrated formula provides maximum solubility and ensures that the vitamins and minerals are readily bioavailable. This is the best option for patients immediately following surgery.
* The vitamin and mineral content of each pack is equal to taking one chewable multivitamin plus 500 mg of calcium.
* The calcium that we have chosen is calcium lactate-gluconate, which is a highly absorbable form of calcium with excellent solubility properties.
* Due to the nature of the formulation, this product is appropriate for any surgical weight loss procedure. As with any of our other delivery systems, you may need additional supplementation based on surgery type.
* It is recommended to be blended with 8-16 oz of water, shaken, and consumed.
* Each pack also contains 4 g of soluble fiber, added electrolytes and a 500 mg antioxidant blend made with natural berries including acai berry, raspberry, blueberry, goji berry, strawberry and cranberry.
* Like our other products, taste is important and this has a smooth grape flavor.
Who would benefit from this product?
1. Early post-operative patients - Since this may be diluted to taste, there are virtually no issues with taste aversion. If you prefer a stronger flavor, use less water or if you prefer a lighter flavor, use more water.
2. Athletes - If you are a surgery patient turned athlete, this can help to flavor that boring water that you need to drink. Water is critical and taking your vitamins and calcium while hydrating makes it easier.
3. Anyone looking for a convenient alternative to pills or chewable tablets.

This would be awesome, but the only issue that I have is that I HATE grape flavored drinks!!
YUCK!!!! When I was a kid, when we would finish the last of the kool aide, the person that finished it would have to make a new pitcher, but we got to choose what flavor (I always chose Mountain Berry Punch or Lemonaide). My sister would ALWAYS either choose Cherry or Grape... YUCK!! I always tried to make sure that I either finished it, or would offer to make it.
She would want to make it because her favorites were the Grape of Cherry!
If they made different flavors of this product, that would be great!
Michael.

These bariatric vitamin companies are getting pretty competitive... and as a result, we are reaping the benefits... more flavors, different varieties, etc. I'm anxious to see what they will come out with next....
I kinda feel that way about orange. Remember orange crush or orange drinks that Mcdnalds used to sell? After I had some sort of medical test years ago, where I had to drink this awful tasting orange stuff which was so sweet... I never wanted orange again!!
