Talked to the Insurance Company today!!!!!!!!!!
Great news from my Health Advocate at the insurance company today! She is passing all of my info over to the case manager who will make sure everything is correct, then send it to the Utilization Managment folks (the ones who approve/deny)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I have to do is go to my PCP and get him to write a letter to the insurance company saying that he feels I need the surgery and that I medically OK to have it done!
My health advocate said I should have a decision in 2-3 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And, she is pretty sure I'll get an approval, she even told me to make sure I tell my surgeon I need to have my procedure within 90 days of my approval!
I am so excited!!! My insurance game is almost over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
