Price of Lap Band Fills

I was just informed yesterday that my insurance has been billed $1100.00 for my Band adjustment/fills. I am responsible for $600.00 of it! According to other sites most people only pay $100.00 for fills. My Band surgery cost $30,000.00. I thought the Band was cheaper.. ... I am a bit upset over my pricing.I was told because I have insurance the cost is more than a self pay.  Do ya'll mind telling me the prices others are charging?

Not sure what insurance company you have, as well, all insurance companies are different and have different requirements, but mine would be just an office co-pay.

I had RNY bypass, so my doctor's visits are just "specialist" visits ($30 for co-pay).

I'm suprised that you are not just charged a normal office visit.

I have CIGNA through state employees and my band fills are just a specialist co-pay ($25), and I have to have all my fills done under the fluoroscope due to position of my port.

I also just have to pay a $35 copay. That sound awful high for a fill I would be checking with the doctors office.
