Yippee!!!
Maybe, maybe, Ron is going to get to go to Patricia Neal Rehabilitative Center in the next few days. He is having a CT scan tonight. If all looks ok, they will start his transfer tomorrow!!!!! His wound still looks horrible to me, he is on a 24 hour per day IV antibiotic infusion and he still has the 2 drains that are draining about a half liter a day but the rehab has approved him, so we will go if they will have us. The sooner he is there and able to get to work on his strength, the sooner he can get back home. Of course, he is now a little scared about leaving the security of UT hospital. I am trying to reassure him, and I know all will be fine once he gets there.
I saw my doctor today. I had labs drawn. I have sinusitus, low blood pressure, and exhaustion. No DUH! He gave me antibiotics, and a script for a sedative that I didn't fill and told me to get some rest. Maybe I can rest after Ron gets to rehab. The good thing was that I had only gained 2 pounds. I really thought I had gained more. I promise I am working on getting back on track.
Please keep praying for Ron and me.
