Update on Ron and me
New Update:
Ron's white blood cell count is down from 26.8 to 16.8. A HUGE drop. Still considerably above normal, but certainly on the right track. His albumin level (which tells us how well he is doing nutritionally, especially protein wise) is 1.3, should be 2.5, so he is still swelling some, but it is better. His hematocrit is 24.0, should be 45, he will get blood tomorrow. He will get a CT scan of his abdomen tomorrow to see how the abcesses are healing. Please pray they are doing well and he will not require more surgery. He feels better.
I have gotten sick. I have fever, chills, headache, and joint pain. I got run out of the hospital so I am at home until I can see my doctor tomorrow morning. I just pray Ron will be o****il then. My daughter Erin is in charge until then, heaven help us all, especially the doctors and nurses!
