Stuck food question(s)..

So I started my mush stage. Yesterday I had 2 hard boiled eggs mashed with some light mayo. Ate it all (over time) and had no problems. This morning I had 2 scrambled eggs with some cheese, again no issues. So for lunch I tried some tuna with light mayo and sure enough stuck! I took the same small, slow bites. But I only got about 3 when I felt for sure the feeling that although I never had before I knew was stuck food. I immediately stopped eating and sat and waited. I could feel the mouth "foamies" starting up so I tried walking around. Finally I went into the rest room and took one look at the toilet and began to unstick the food. I know chicken is one of the foods people say is tough to get down at first, but hadn't heard this about tuna. So this brings up a few questions..

First is tuna tough to eat at this early mush stage? If so what do you suggest? Eggs are ok, but I know I will get tired of them quickly if they are all I eat.

and

Is throwing up the only way to unstick food? Or does it ever work its way down?

As always you guys are the best bunch and thanks for all your help upfront.

I've never had anything get stuck to where I had to vomit, but I have had the foamies.

Tuna is alot more dense then the eggs that you ate.

What I would suggest is to save your tuna and have maybe one or two bites, and "suppliment" the rest of your meal with eggs as that is ok for you it sounds like.

I hope that this helps.

I bought a mini chopper at wally world and I put my tuna, dill pickle relish and light mayo in it and pureed the dickens out of it. It looked like I had already eaten it but it was so good after so much liquid. Try this it might work better for you. I also did the same thing for chicken.

Hi Sher.

Everyone is different with the foods they can tolerate. Just experiment and stick with the foods that your body processes easily. I was able to eat both blended chicken and tuna, however, mayo makes me dump. I also find that shrimp goes down very easy (I can live on shrimp!).

Hope you are well.
