OK, so I guess technically I didn't get off my butt cause it was a spin class..   and while it was a workout, and I'm sore..   I think I need to loose about 20 more pounds before I go back, my hinney hurts!!  OUCH, my bike at home is one of those old ones, with the nice WIDE seats, and the ones in spin class have narrow seats and even with the beginners gel seat cover, I think I have bruises!

I am not giving up on spin, because it was a workout!!  But I think I'm going to postpone my return for a few more pounds off..    BUT..  with the Y's summer slim down, I did my weigh in again today, and I lost another four pounds!  So that is   8 pounds in 2 weeks!!

Now, I'm going to go and ice down my tender tush!!!

So what did you do to get bruises in unusal places today???

NEXT.....

Spin is awesome huh!!

We have one here at my works gym.  I go twice a week and LOVE IT!!

You will get used to the hurt bottom.  The soreness will go away quickly.

I love it.

That's why I dislike bikes so much, Amy!  Owwww, my nether-regions!

Even the big, giant seats on the recumbent bikes makes my butt go numb after about 15 minutes.

Speaking of, here's what I did today:

::  20' on recumbent, butt numbing bike
::  25' minutes on treadmill
::  upper body machines (lat pulldown, chest press and that other thing)
::  lower body stretches for bursitis

I'm happy to say that my bursitis is essentially gone.  I love that I was able to do it via exercise and not have to resort to steroid shots.  Yaaay!  I'm keep those stretches going so it doesn't come back.  That was a big, fat pain!

Yesterday I did 35 minutes (I think, 30 maybe) on my elliptical at home, and did 10' warm up on the bike plus lower body leg exercises on the machines.  I've started what I refer to as Twittercise and it shows up on my WLS blog and on my OH blog, too!  That way I can remember what to post here, if I forget to wander over here amidst the insanity that is my life!!!

Hey, Amy--tomorrow is my fluro fill!!!!  I can't waaaaait!  I'll keep you posted and let you know if I get it video taped!  Got my iFlip in my purse, raring to go!  Oh yeah, and I hope I get some restriction, too!  HA!

HUGS!!!

Good Luck with the fill...   I have had four now, and I can say with this last one, I am feeling restriction..

At least you have your flip in your purse...  I thought about it, but it didn't actually make it in the bag!

Can't wait to hear how it goes!

Hey Amy--short of getting a banana seat (remember those) for your spin bike---a great idea is to go to Academy (or a sporting goods store online) and order a "Gel Seat"....you bring it with you to the spin class...it slips right over the other seat & is so comfortable.....I have one on my mountain bike & keep forgetting to bring it to spin, but I saw a couple people w/them at Monday's spin class.

Also, it's really good news that your hiney hurts....that means you have way less padding there than you use to!!! :)...yeah!  xo, Micheala.
