Ok odd question I know. But I am a week out of surgery and every oz has to be counted cause as we know 64oz is tough to get to in these early stages although I do think I am doing pretty well.

My son has been making me protein Jello last one was the small box of jello this one is a large. If it weren't for him I wouldn't be getting any in. But I want to count it towards hydration. I ate the whole small box this morning. Working on the large now. Since I can count the SF Jello towards hydration how many ounces is it? We didn't weight it before it set up so I have no clue. Anyone? Or is this just to bizarre a question? LOL

Thanks

You divide it by half.  So if you eat 4 ounces of jello, it counts as 2 ounces. Same with ice, ice cream, or anything that would be liquid at room temperature.

I would think you could go by how much water you put in it?

You know Sher, I would have never thought about that question, it is a great question!

But what amazed me was your son taking an active role in your protein intake, and making you jello!  You should be so very proud!

You seem to be doing great for being a week out!

I am super proud of him. He was the one who stayed at night with me in the hospital and helped me. He's been my biggest supporter here :)

Thanks
