Anybody on here from the Tri-Cities area??

Hi.  My name is Donna and I live in the southwestern corner of Virginia, about an hour from Bristol, VA/TN.  Just wondering if there is anybody on the TN board from around the Bristol, Kingsport, Johnson City areas.  Most of the people on the VA board are from northern VA and so far away from me.  I would like to get to know some people closer to my geographical area who have taken this fantastic WLS journey and compare notes!

Hi Donna!! I live in Nashville now but I grew up in Johnson City. I love it there and hope to move back one of these days. I am coming up there the week after July 4th.

All my family lives up there so sometimes it's so hard to be here but you have to go where you find the work. My brother lives here also so its not so hard and I have lots of good friends but my heart is in the hills of East TN!!

I'm Jamie, a newbie...had RNY 5/27/09, and I live in Morristown, TN.  Not too far from Johnson City. I haven't seen anyone from this area online either, most of the people in my support group are down in Knoxville.  Nice to meet ya!!

I am Becky and I am from Damascus, VA. I use the TN board because my surgeon is in Johnson City and had surgery at the medical center (JCMC). The people on this board are super friendly and helpfull. I had RNY on 4-22-09 so  am still kind of new but if you have any questions just ask, I am sure someone will be able to answer them. Best wishes and welcome aboard!!!!
