Call Centennial and ask.  The support group that meets in Cookeville is a Centennial group, but anyone can come.  It might depend on the exact type of support group.

I believe all of their support groups are open to everyone the only ones that might have restrictions are the ones lead by professionals.    I would call or Pam Davis will come through the boards and answer.  She is the program director there.

I thought that someone had told me they were open to anyone, however when I called the number on Centennial's page (615-342-1231) to verify, I was told these groups were for Centennial patients only...

Rosie,

Support groups are just like your surgeon...make sure you research several of them and find the one that meets your needs!

Good Luck!

Thanks, Scott. I did attend a meeting last night and am still looking. I am hoping to find a group soon. :)

LOL Scott...  your statement kinda sounds like mine...  Only, I say support gruops are like churches.  You keep looking til you find the one that believes like you believe! lol.  Heck, I've been left one church denomination in my lifetime, gone to two others...  been called a proselyter for inviting members to other churches...  yep I'd say that's pretty much how support groups are
