NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Officers believe speed may have caused a crash that claimed the life of a motorcyclist late Wednesday night.
The crash occurred just before 10 p.m. on Bridgeway Avenue near Robinson Road in northeast Davidson County.
Police think the motorcyclist was speeding and lost control trying to make a turn. He was taken to Skyline Medical Center where he was pronounced dead

My prayers are with you and I understand fully what you are going through. Wednesday morning a friend of mine(47) and his daughter(26) and grandson(9) were moving some stuff and had the pickup truck full and was pulling a trailer, loaded. David wasn't speeding, Lori and Zack were in the bed of the truck. David lost control---Lori was killed and Zack is in Vanderbilt in bad shape. He is in a body cast, he has fractures along his spine. Please pray---he is such a good man and he loves his child and grandson. It was a stupid mistake-----riding in the back of pickups----that's what us rednecks do, of course that wasn't meant to be an excuse.
