IDGOMB, Tuesday and Wednesday, June 9 & 10

I had a late business meeting last night, so I didn't have time to post the exercise thread. But I did take the time to go to the gym in the early afternoon because it was going to be closed by the time I got out of the meeting.
Here's what I did yesterday and I'll update later with today's workout, which will be after work.
Tuesday:
:: 25 minutes on the recumbent bike
:: 25 minutes on the treadmill
:: upper body weight machines (row, lat pulldown, chest press)
:: lower body stretches (quads, hammies, IT band)
:: logged 10492 steps on pedometer
What are you doing to be physically active?
Here's my Wednesday workout:
:: 18 min on recumbent bike
:: 30 min on treadmill
:: lower body weight machines (back and calf extensions, hip adductor and abductor)
:: I'm at 9891 on my pedometer--so clooooooose!
I ran out of time (gym closed!) so I didn't get to do the lower body stretches. I'll do 'em when I go tomorrow. I think I'm gonna have to go to work at the crack of dawn because I have to leave at 4ish to go to the lap band support group meeting at 5!

Yesterday, I did 15 minutes on the treadmill, then I went in for 45 minutes of scuplt class. I really like this class cause it gives such a full body muscle workout.
Today I was going to go to kickboxing with Kerri, but had to take a raincheck due to rescheduled dr's appts, so I guess I'll get my excerise walking around the Vandy clinic with my buzzer, waiting between appts.
But I will be active!!

OH OH OH OH OH!!!! It's FLUOROSCOPE FILL DAY!!!!! Did you take your iFlip???? Huh, huh, huh????
My fill is next Wednesday and I cannot wait. I have been in bad situations the past few days and made some awful, awful choices! I'm chalking it up to a learning experience, back on strict control today with journaling and counting the days until my fill.
Just because I can, doesn't mean I should. Unless I'm talking about going to the gym, and then I definitely should! I'm pleased with that department--I've gone 9 week days in a row! Yippeee! Gotta get conditioned in time for the Walk from Obesity in September.
Get those laps in at the clinic--it's nice to walk it inside because it's huge! I did a lap the last time I went to a support group meeting to bump me over my 10,000. Speaking of which, I wish TONIGHT was the lap band group. Sniff, sniff. It's tomorrow.
Update us on the fill and post video if possible!

My fill is next Wednesday and I cannot wait. I have been in bad situations the past few days and made some awful, awful choices! I'm chalking it up to a learning experience, back on strict control today with journaling and counting the days until my fill.

We joined the Y last night. Today I did my first Zumba class.

Hey Rosie! Did your move go well? Are you guys getting settled down there in the 'Boro? Are there more than on YMCAs in Murfreesboro? I know of the one on 96 by the interstate.
Did you like the Zumba class? It's all the rage these days, though I've never done one.

Hey, Denise. We got up here last Wednesday and things are going well. We ae just about unpacked and settled in. Now we just have to get the Alabama house sold and we will be all squared away. :)
As far as I know, there is only the one Y in M'boro (across from Wal-Mart). There is another in Symrna, i think.
The Zumba class was good. I was a bit lost, but it was fine. The motto in there is "just keep moving" even if you din't get some of the steps. I have to say, I was a lot less self-conscious and nervous than I though I would be. :)
