OT........Job interview...& Phil's boo-boos

As most of you know from my post I am looking for a part-time job. I was wanting something in a small office, where I could do the accounting/clerical side. Well I have a interview in the morning with Rock Springs Academy a daycare in Smyrna for a office position. I have went by there and the place really looks nice. Does anyone know anything about this place? I am excited, but really, really nervous, because I have only worked at one job, a bank for 30+years and I have not worked in the last two years. So this is a great/scary thing for me to be doing and  it is kinda out of my comfort zone.  Been way to long since I have been on a job interview.I will post sometime tomorrow afternoon and let everyone know what happened.

Now on to Mr. Phil's boo-boos. He was getting our scooters out of the van last night at work and feel on the makeshift ramp that he has to use, since our lift quit working. He cut his left hand, right knee, and right side of his stomach. We went in and went to 1st aid, they checked him out and banadaged him up. They think he may have brusied a couple of ribs, they didn't do xray's to see if they were cracked, but they didn't think so. We did stay at work but he had a rough time. They put us close together so that I could keep a eye on him. He is really sore this morning, which that is to be expected, but we think/hope he will be fine. It is really hard on him using just a piece of plywood to get the scooters in and out. But until we can get the funds to buy a new lift, we are going to have to with what we have. With the lift I could get the scooters in and out no problem, but I can not do that now, I just don't have the strength in my right arm after my sugery to handle it.

So anyway enough about the Parker's, just say a little prayer for me to get the job and for Phil to feel better. I hope everyone is going to have a great Sunday. We will be preparing clothes/supplies/ etc to work the CMA Fest on the 11th,12th,13th,14th. I have never worked this, so I don't know really what to expect, but hey I will get to hear all of the concerts those nights at LP Field...............LOL

Prayers for you in your interview.   I'll bet you knock them dead.   I hope your hubby feels better soon.  Trying to do things without the right equipment is always iffy, at best.    Do you think the insurance might shell out to repair your lift?   You may have discussed this before, but I've been MIA because of horrible stuff happening here, too.

Thanks, even though he has lost weight, it will sure take quite a few Dora bandaids for his boo-boo's. Tell your daughter thanks for the offer...............lol

Thanks Dennie, the lift is out and gone, we are still trying to figure something else out. We found a place in Lebanon today and they have vans converted for scooters and things and the cheapest they had was $28,000. They have lifts that can be put in our van for $1,400, still way out of our means. We will have new insurance on July 1st, so we will check with them  and see what happens.

As far as my interview, I feel like it went real good, I will know more in a few days, I have everything crossed that I can in hopes that I get this.............LOL
