My BUG report for the week:

I had a goal of 12 pounds, three classes a week, and 5 inches..  OK..  I can't report on the inches, but I did loose 2 pounds this week, but I only made it to 2 classes at the Y.  I'll do better next week.  I think I'm going to have to check out the spin class...

So..  want to share your BUG report...   OR want to join in the June Bug challenge???

  Report, checking in!

My plan is to lose 11 pounds and go to the gym 3x per week. I'll save the weight report for the end of the month, but I am pleased to report that I went to the gym 5x this week and got in a little extra walking.

I'm taking the weekend off because we do need to have some rest and my knees were a little achy from the elliptical and recumbent bike.  I've decided I don't like the LifeFitness ellipticals (they feel funny compared to my Precor), so at the gym I'll use the bikes and the treadmill.  I thoroughly enjoyed my treadmill workout on Friday.

I have to say this--it's been two months (seems WAY longer than that) since my surgery.  I had my blood pressure checked at an allergy appointment on Friday.  It was 90/60!!!!  HOLY COW!  My blood pressure was on the high side of normal (120-140/80-90) before, but I was never on bp meds.  Now I'm at the low end!  How funny!  I love seeing all the positive medical changes from my weight loss.

HUGS, Amy!!!

You sound like you are doing great!!

Now I don't think your girls watch TV, I don't know maybe Ms. Tuesday is a TV junkie, but one of Connor's favorite shows is Horseland, and I watch it with him, and they had a whole show about an overweight horse.  And how when she realized she was overweight, she just pushed and pushed with the exercise and when it came time for the big race, she was slimmer, but her body was also not able to compete because she had overdone...  OK so that was a long ramble, just to say, you are exactly right, you have to give your body a break!!!    (NO, I was NOT comparing you to a hores, smiles!!!)

Congrats on the blood pressure!!!!

HUGS Denise!!

Sorry for being late.  Mom has been in the hospital with pneumonia.

I learned my lesson last month so my weight goal is not going to be so high this time.  Just trying to keep it real this time.

I want to:      1.  Lose 15 pounds
                    2.  Get to Onederland
                    3.  Get to the Gym at least 5 times a week.
                    4.  Finally walk a whole 3 miles at least once a week.

Bug Report:  Let's see, I have totally failed in my attempt to make 4 Y classes/week...but I have worked out every day (hard) and feel good about that.

The only other thing I can report on is weight loss. I started at 229 with a goal of losing 15 bugs/pounds this month.  I weighed this morning and was 222, so I have lost 7 pounds so far this month & need to lose 8 more to get to goal.....I will keep working!

I hope everyone has recovered from strep at your house!

Okay my goal was 12 pounds and so far I've lost 8 so I am well on my way! I want to add a goal of 3x per week to the gym and but can't deal with inches right now!

See you at the end of the month!

EXCELLENT Stacey, I would say you are more than well on your way to 12 pounds or more, considering it is only the 7th of the month!!!!

I'll put ya down for the exercise too!

Well, I am FINALLY able to report some loss...My goal was just 10 pounds and I started at 172, now down to 169 so that is a loss of 3 pounds.

But, I did get to the Y and do 4 classes.  I feel good about that.

Thanks and good luck y'all the rest of the month.
