I went to visit Ronda today and she is in wonderful spirts.    We chatted for at least and hour.  ti felt kind of weird to be back on the 3rd floor and not have an IV hooked to my neck (or 150 extra pounds on me...)   She is progressing great and I bet she will be out of the hosiptal tomorrow.

Just wanted to give everyone an update.

With great power (the DS!) comes great responsibility.

I can concur Rhonda is rocking her new DS. I saw her on Wednesday with Izzy after talking to Dr Houston, completing the nutritional classes and pre-op testing. Rhonda really looks fabulous! It doesn't even seemed liked she just had major surgery. She made it look so easy. She also encouraged us to follow through with the surgery and told us "you can do it!" Because I was getting ice cold feet for a while.
Rhonda mom was on it with the protein, she was mixing her UnJury in her broth. I admit we laughed a little too much  Wednesday. I hope she didn't damage anything. She had to hold her tummy at one point we couldn't stop laughing. It doesn't take much to get me started . We just can't help it we love to laugh.  I am happy that I dropped in to see her in such great spirits.
