Update on Marilyn's Ron
I spoke with Marilyn this morning and she said Ron got out of surgery about 2am. He has 3 areas of perforated bowel. They had problems getting his vital signs stable during and aft er the operation but he seemed to be holding his own this morning. They are keeping him heavily sedated as he is still on the vent. This is not that unusual in such a critical situation. Hopefully he will stabilize soon and be off the vent possibly tomorrow.
I have passed on your concern and prayers and she appreciates everyone caring so much for them.
Her new employers have been very supportive of her. I know she loves the new job (the little time she has been able to spend at it).
I will keep you folks informed as much as I can as we are traveling but should be back in the Sevierville area by the weekend.
