Ron!!
Friends,
Please say a prayer for Ron Lynch, Marilyn's husband. He has taken a turn for the worse and will probably be going into emergency surgery today. Possible perforated or ruptured bowel. This is something they cannot mess around with but she does feel he is getting the best of care at UT.
For anyone who had planned to attend the WLS support group tonight at Ft Sanders Severe, it has been cancelled. We will resume in July. Please pass it on.

Thanks for keep us OH peeps informed. How is Marilyn holding up? How is her new job treating her? I hope they are not giving her a hard time, but I know that is the last thing that she is worried about right now. Is she staying at the hospital all this time? I hope she is taking care of herself. Please let her know that Phil and I are thinking and praying for the both of them, and if there is anything that we can do to please let us know.

Nancy,
Thanks for letting us know. Tell her if there is anything I can do - just let me know. Im going to try the beginners yoga class tonight. My daughter has been sick and is just getting over a cold of sorts so we are going to take it a bit easier tonight.
Keep me posted.
Thanks,
Lin Carson

Thanx Nancy for posting this. I am sitting in the surgical waiting room at UT Hospital in Knoxville . Ron has been in surgery for a couple of hours or so. I am a wreck. He has a perforated bowel which is a very serious complication. His surgery is liable to last several more hours. My daughter is here with me and my brother is on his way from Memphis. Ron has no family. Ron has lost over 60 pounds in the last few months from this disease...without WLS. Please keep him in your prayers, this surgery and the recovery are truly life or death as far as seriousness. I appreciate all of you and hope that Ron and I get to see all of you soon.
