Bariatric Advantage---Cinnamon.  I have tried the chocolate & other flavors, but the Cinnamon is my favorite b/c it's like having a cinnamon mint & it makes it a lot easier to take thinking of it that way.  Since we have to take three a day & they have to be two hours apart from each other & then, also, another two hours from the multi-vitamin--a good part of our day is used planning & taking our multis & our calcium.....Micheala.

Bariatric Advantage, - I take the Cherry Flavor, but I am thinking about ordering another flavor to see if I like it better.  It is easy to chew.

I get it from bariatriceating.com and it comes to me monthly with a 30 day supply of calcium, multivitimans, B12 and Iron  All chewable.  My DH says they are good for WLS patients.  There are other brands available I have not tried and other places to get them, but this is where I get mine.

I have used Bariatric Advanatge.  Right now I use Strawberry Cream Celebrate, and have used the Hot Cocoa but did not like that paritcular flavor so well.

I also use Bariatric Advanatage creamy chews (chocolate) about 3 -4 times a week just to mix it up. I have found that if you have a variety, you dont get sick of them as often. don't get me wrong, I like my vitamins, but sometiems that same ole flavor can get old.

Wait.. so the Calcium chewables can't be taken with the multi vitamin?? I take 3 calcium citrate chewables with my multivitamin and my vitamin d every morning, and then 3 more calcium citrate chewables in the afternoon/evening.

I already have to time my eating and drinking. Please don't tell me I also have to time my vitamin consumption??

Yup...you do need to time your vitamins, too.......I actually learned that at one of the Pam Davis' Franklin Support Groups when Jill (the dietition from Centennial) came to talk to us about nutrition.

The calcium can't be taken all at once....your body can only absorb so much at one time....so, each chewable needs to be taken at least two hours from each other.  Now, I only have to take 3 calcium pills per day, so you will need to check with Pam or Jill about how to time out taking six!!

Then, to mix it up even more, you need to take your first multi vitamin two hours from the calcium because your body will compete and block some of it & you won't get its full benefit.  It might be different for guys, but for me its:   am Multi....2 hours later....calcium....2 hours later....another calcium....2 hours later...another calcium....2 hours later a pm multi.

Definitely check with Jill Burns or Pam Helmlinger at Centennial in case it's different for men, but I don't think so.....Micheala.
