Marilyn, give this link a try.  It will help you with a lot of the day to day items here on OH.  Also, when you go to the "My OH" page, look opn the upper left for the words..."change avatar".  Click on that link and follow the instructions.  If you need any help resizing a pic, just let me know!

 Hey Marilyn!

Once you set up your ticker the way you like it and have your weight updated, you should be on a page that has several code options (bbCode, HTML, Facebook, iGoogle, ezCode).

Go into the box for HTML, select all the text and copy it.

Go to your account, Settings --> Message Board and then paste the HTML code into your signature box.  That's how I do it (on a Mac) and I can see my ticker.  I don't know if anyone else can, though!

From then on, any time you need to update your ticker, you can go to any post you have made (or settings for message board), click on your ticker, and it should take you to your ticker in tickerfactory.  Just enter your PIN and update the info and it'll automatically update for you.

Here's what it'll look like (replaced the < with ( so you can see the text example)

(a href="http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/wwokT5q/") (img border="0" src="http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/t/wwokT5q/weight.png")(/a)

and here's how it'll show up in your siggie:

Good luck!!
Denise

I forgot that I'm on a Mac and you have to do the HTML code or you just get the blue box with a ? in it.  If you're a PC person, I think just copying and pasting the ticker will work just fine.

Here's what I found in the help section of OH on adding a ticker.

If you use the HTML, you don't have to come back and copy and paste into your signature every time you update your stats.  It automatically updates for you when you update at TickerFactory.  I'm not sure if that's how it works with the copy/paste because you're coping a static image and not the code that creates it.
