Psych Evals

Hello everyone! I am pretty new here and this is my first post.  I am pre-op and preparing for the RNY surgery.  I work for the state and have Cigna insurance.  I just found out that my 6 months of Dr.'s visit does not have to be consecutive. So to my surprise i have completed them!  All i have left to do is get a psych eval.  Does anyone know of a Dr. who accepts Cigna (actually Magellan), so i don't have to pay $250.00 for the eval?  I would appreciate any help! Thanks! 

We primarily use Athena Consulting (615) 320-1155 and the Evelyn Frye Center (615) 385-4090. I believe they both work with most insurances.

I have Blue Shield of CA and was looking to get a psych eval without paying the $250 either.   I used Dr. Jana Williams in Hermitage.  She was real easy to talk to and wrote me a great letter.    I would give her office a call to see if they accept your insurance.   I only had to pay my co-pay which was $15.00.   The only downfall is there is a there was a long wait for an appointment date, but I told them to call me with any opening and I got in about 3 weeks earlier because of that.
